Systemic autoimmune disease in children

With this project I aim to:
- Validate the biomarker potential of galectin-9 and CXCL10 in disease course prediction in Juvenile Dermatomyositis
- Identify biomarker profiles in relation to disease activity, disease course, organ involvement, and comorbidities, in (J)DM and related  systemic autoimmune diseases.
- investigate molecular and cellular mechanisms in the immunopathogenesis of JDM and other systemic autoimmune diseases
