Role of collagens on tumor immune responses

Collagen is an important factor in the responsiveness of cancer patients to immune checkpoint blockade therapies. The aim of this project is to investigate the regulatory role of collagens present in the tumor micro-environment on tumor immune responses. In this project we will study the collagen composition in different tumor types and the impact of different collagen modifications on anti-tumor T cell responses through binding of specific collagen receptors.
