Development and optimization of GMP viral vector production processes for clinical research of cancer immunotherapies
Presently, production of viral vectors in large scale still remains a big challenge for academic hospitals and institutions, which is inhibiting research and translation of advanced therapy medicinal products (ATMPs). The objective of this project is to develop a minimalistic and an adaptable process platform for large scale production of GMP-grade viral vectors, that can produce multiple types of viral vectors (retrovirus, lentivirus, adeno-associated virus, etc.) to pursue various leads and address clinical demand.
