Seed Funding Grant

The Infection & Immunity Center Utrecht (IICU) has instigated a new initiative to stimulate interfaculty innovative collaborative research projects between two (not more) IICU members or, if needed, with an external (UU / UMC Utrecht) partner.
Funds for several one-year seeding grants to be used for one research technician (max. € 40,000) and bench-fee (€15,000), are available. Seeding grants are exclusively meant to provide a solid basis for joint external grant applications. Complementary expertise, multidisciplinary approaches, and interfaculty collaboration are important assessment criteria. Projects will be ranked by independent external reviewers.
