Prof. Paul Coffer (UMC Utrecht, left) and Prof. Jos van Putten (Faculty of Veterinary Medicine UU, right) have been appointed as coordinators for INFECTION AND IMMUNITY, representing the Faculties of Medicine and Veterinary Medicine respectively.

Together with UMCU and FVM-UU researchers they are currently defining specific research themes within the focus area and are putting together Scientific and Advisory boards as well as an Educational Committee. In the next few months these keyplayers will come together to initiate and develop novel innovative research and educational programs within this focus area. Progress will be reported
