Doing your postdoc abroad – a must?
Each year the IICU organizes a Spring Meeting for all its PhD students, focusing on personal and scientific development. This year we will discuss the pro’s and con’s of doing a postdoc in another country. We will focus on the career aspects as well as the personal implications.
Do you really need this on your CV in order to get grants funded? What about your partner (and children)? Will you feel at home?
We have invited 5 speakers who will talk about their experiences. After a short introduction you will have the opportunity to talk to them personally. To further stimulate discussions we will have drinks afterwards.
